More details to follow, but usually HFT & Ft events on at all Swefta shoots
Enjoyed my first visit to North Petherwin yesterday
compact little Ground, think every lane was 4 targets which i enjoyed, as it meant i only had to get up 10 times!
Interesting painting on some of the targets, personally I have no problem with variations as being old school to me a Magpie target should be black and white.
Not seen many orange rats mind but it was an experience!
Really liked seeing the (real) reducers on the course and the reduced kneelers and standers, excellent targets.
Good selection of full size long sitters and a couple of long standers made it a challenging course despite little, or to me no wind
Thanks to Tony Fouracres for actring as pathfinder and shooting partner, thanks to all that helped run the event.
Definatley another swefta grounds that i would look forward to returning to.
A few pics to remind us of a good day
Though personally i would rather forget this one, only about 11y? 25ml, easy shot!
Tony Shot it but forgot to dial, i was so peed at missing T37 a minute earlier I forgot to kneel, though I will blame lack of sleep for that!
This is me taking a reduced Kill kneeler, in the corrct position, Kneeling lol
Thanks to Tony for taking once again excellent pics, of ME!
38y 25ml, 27 y 25 ml, 33y full and 11 y 25ml reducer, something for all,
Nigel was top today on 36 despite shooting out of order, well we all make mistakes!
When not shooting there was plenty of friendly chat and a bit of Banter going on, least for those not afraid of a Chrono!
Does Z have a long lost brother?
Standers, Did he didnt he?
Tricky end to the course with some tough targets, Did he get them
And the 40+y stander?
18m 25ml stander. I usually dont miss these at Tondu when practising.
Today though I was knackered and had a huge pulse bouncing the cross hair from top to bottom and past Kill !
That meant not a chance of hitting it lol
i will get it next year
Nice photo's Simon, you will have to bring your camera to more SWEFTA events to capture the day
With regard to taking some pictures for you, with an all singing and dancing camera like that all I had to do was press the button .... easy peasy really, no problems at all. .
Thanks for partnering me also.
Sorry I did not notice you about to take the last close kneeling target sitting, I would have told you had I been watching but I had turned away in case of any pellet bounce back, especially just being hit in the eyebrow from bounce back on the 8 yarder a couple of lanes previous.
brilliant photos! I can also conform that I have no long lost siblings!
cracking photos mate, glad you caught my best side
Jez, if I was you I would leave the springer alone. I think its working fine and no need to practice again this season.
am not taking any advice from you mate since you said that pellets go in the barrel skirt first!!!!!!!!!!
Nice shot of young Joe age 12 taking part in his first swefta shoot got 16 x 40 .
That was a good score Joe for your first SWEFTA shoot, and it's nice to see young ones coming into the sport. Well done Joe.
I'd also like to thank Joe for shooting his first swefta comp,it can be a little daunting I know but its great to see some younger one's coming into the sport. Don't give up Joe,and keep practicing.
