Thanks to Dartmoore for putting on the showdown today.

Nice and windy, pity i shot like a Tart

    Great food and very resonable.

Be interesting to see a big national there perhaps??

Just like to say a big thank you to Gus for today's shoot,it was a testing course with that gusty wind. Just need to make sure that the trophy is there in future for the winner of the FT at the end of the competition, not your fault I'm sure but was left a bit flat at the end when going home with nothing to show for the hard work.Second time this has happened so I'm led to believe, not good enough by the person who held on to it from last year..!!!

    Many thanks again mate,very enjoyable.

So i went for a walk to have a look at the course, and mutch to my delight is spotted this in the standing lane

Not far, about 22 yards but yes, a 25 ml.

i missed it, but only cause i was shooting very badly today. It could have been 75ml at that range and i would have missed

After all that Digging, Rich had to have a lie down too?

Fear of a Heavy Welsh Chap not seeing them while prone,
meant some took to H & S vests to avoid being trodden on!

Some took it a stage further and have got their Bean bags kitted out in the H & S Hi vis stuff too!

Told you he likes matching kit

    :D Good stuff :)

Dartmoor had a GP in my first year of national shooting, always memorable, spent the afternoon chatting with DWB in the sunshine... it was my first qualification for the national showdown as well.

Nice to meet you Simon, thanks for the great photos, and the advice you gave Rob Meatyard about a possible GP course.

That was the only time I met David Baines, and he won! As sad loss to the sport.
