any taffies fancy a day out Sunday I am going to Buckley wood and have room in the car for one

Usually a good day out, 40 shot ft and 30 shot hft course.

I think robf should start shooting the hft course too, may beat him on that lol

Can't think of a hardr course?

Well, ok, maybe local knowalge has alot to do with a good score here (see How do you miss...) but on my first trip to buckley wood, in the end enjoyed it.

Really nice location, good parking and shooting platforms.
Food very good value for money and very tasty, top draw and thank you ladies

Definatley one to re-turn to, reminded me of my first visits to dowry hill.

Well done To Ken Manley on the win, but having spoken to him after the shoot and learning he had none of the issues i and many other were having, he should do his lottery tonight lol.
    Great shooting Ken.

Thanks to buckley wood for the seasons opener.

A few snaps to remind us of a good start to the season.

Looks like a cracking day. Also curious about the "interesting" kneeling position :confused::confused:

    local knowlage

The chap is not a youngster Mark and you have to give him credit for trying to get into the Kneeling position as you or i would take it.
The rear seat may benifit me or you perhaps, but I can assure you it does nothing for him than make it less painfull a shot. He is still very unstable, compared to you or I.

Really you should be hopefull if you reach such an age you too enjoy the competion.
Unlike some, he is never going to win a gp not matter how he takes disaplines.

Indeed, however the rules state the chief marshall shall make a decision on diaplines as in this case,
Therefor its perfectly correct as per the rules.

    No advantage is gained;)

Thanks to Buckley wood for a good opening to the season.
Most people were complaining about the wind which wasnt particularly strong, but all over the place.
The new chrony check seemed to go ok, and the marshals all looked rather dapper.
There seemed to be the inevitable queue at the first lane on the ft course, think we need too get our heads around shotgun starts to get things moving.
