sunshade tube

    can anyone point me in the direction of who makes sunshade tubes with no screw ends just a push on fit ?

    There are some rubber flexible ones about, but I am not sure who sells them now, but most push ons are made or machined up due to the many differences in sizes from one maker to another. I have a nice plastic one on a small Burris that was a small portable Hoover tube.It actually looks ok.:cool:

    Some people have been known to make them from beer cans, i kid you not!!:rolleyes:

    I have made one from a plastic drain pipe for a big Nikko

    Buy a pi9ece or off cut the nearest size (smaller and it will clip on ;)

    if I can't find one for the job I may welll have to look elsewhere.I know what's going to happen now everywhere I go I will be looking at things to see if it looks like it will fit my scope I won't be able to walk past a skip without looking in it lol

    I will know later tonight the exact measurement of the outer of the objective bell, my mate is borrowing one of those calipers from work so I can get the measurement right atb kev.

    Thanks for the help chaps now sorted the outside measurement of the objective turned out to be 56.something or other mm so a plastic fitting in one hand and a dermal my mate had in the othere made one to fit just need to give it some finishing touches and it will be fitted cheers kev.
