    Being new to it all how can I tell what barrel is on my steyr lg110

    If a .22 pellet doesn't fit down it, then it's probably a .177

    If it has a rippled effect on the surface it's a barley twist, it looks like a barley twist chair leg.

    thats good news then, as an LG110 never had a barley twist barrel fitted to it anyway.

    Serial number

    A serial number may help but it could be anything because they are so basic to machine.
    Maybe give diameter and colour , that might give more clues.

    The number is on the side of the rifle not the barrel.
    It sounds like a standard barrel.
