I have been told that if I change the transfer port for a black one I will get more shots per fill.

    Anyone advise please?

    Thank you

Oh, by the way, I love my 110 Hunter.
Made me want a Hunter5, but I really can't spend all that money and my 110 for one.

That's correct, you will also gain extra power so ensure you chrono and adjust your power accordingly after fitting.

If you use JSB Express 7.9grn set your Steyr to 800 fps, = 11.2 ftllb. ;)

    Steyr black transfer port

My brand new £2,300 Steyr LG110 model 2014 is shooting low velocities at 740 to 750 fps with JSB 8.44 grain pellets ! It has a green transfer port. I've been told that the 4mm black transfer port is perhaps the best answer as it will help me achieve 770 to 780 fps once fitted. However, who is the best person that can help me receive the genuine exact 4mm black transfer port ? PM please. Thank you.

    got mine from intershoot.

    increased shot count

had to wind out adjuster 1.5 turns to get down to 11.2 lbs/ft

I am told that installing without reseting will put it close to 1000 fps so beware have a chrono available

Could you tell me if your steyr hunter has the external velocity screw? I posted this question earlier but I'm struggling to get a reply. Cheers

The Hunter 5 does not have an external velocity screw, but it does have an inboerd one ;-)
