No, but I shoot a Walther and the adjustability is one of the reasons why.;)

I know one steyr shooter who shoots internationally a lot... he cranks the adjuster down so there is no chance of the gun failing a chrono check if it was ever stopped at customs.

Not the sole reason for buying Steyr but it definitely played a part.

Not a Steyr but I had the A/T removed from my MPR, IMO I needed to be able to service it & adjust the power according to weather or the best for the pellet I choose to use.
    A/T is a crock..

Steyr on Gery Market is AT

Sorry - Subject heading should read- "Steyr on Grey Markekt is NON AT"

Would anyone buy a Posrche, Ferrari, Lambo, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Ford, Renault, Citroen, Volvo , Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai or any car for that matter if they were neutered permanently to the legal speed limit of 90 on highways, but still had an engine which could go to 150/200mph ????

The solution people, is to buy grey...all of us who know airguns, can sort out issues, as we are all keen to help out one another.

Whats happened as a consequence of AT, are shops losing trade/business, as they simply send it back to the manufacturer or the agent. How do you think the airgun shop owner feels ? They're shafted !...and i like to support the shop owner when I have a small problem which I cant take care of myself by getting the shop involved.

So to the poll, Yes I only buy anything that is AT, and if fitted, can be removed - as It is NOT illegal to do so.

I didn't think that ANY Steyr's had AT on them
Do the new one's coming from Harry have AT fitted then? - how would you strip them down to clean the hammer with AT fitted?

    Bri,
to the best of my knowledge a shiny new Steyr that is an official Harry Preston import won't have AT fitted either.;)

Thats correct, Despite the best efforts and pressure of AT's instigators in this country, Steyr have decided to not fit AT to their competition air rifles....ever. Thay have done a bit of re-engineering though.;) Basically they have done what our manufacturers should have done.
