Steyr question

    Can anyone tell me what thread is used (4 cap head bolts) to hold the reg in place on the factory made Steyr reg checker please? I'm assuming its the same size that's used to hold the reg into the chassis? It looks like m3.5 but I'm not sure :confused:

    Measured mine paul and i reckon it is 6 FT 2 . ? no don't thank me ??? HOLLY:):cool:

    Once read is is 3mm.
    Never measured...
    If you have the rifle apart, use the same bolts...

    its 3.5mm. rare in the uk.

    sorry i meant rarely used in uk, although probably not as widely available as whole mm sizes.
    good job on finding the site tho. handy to have stuff posted out. a little on the dear side tho.
    im surprised your computer let you search for metric thread sizes :D

    Nearly all electrical sockets are M3.5, sold by the million.

    Thanks guys, ive found that they are m3.5 but have to be cap heads so the screw heads sit in the counter bore on the reg or the cylinder wont tighten up fully :( Tried some electrical 3.5 screws Jon but as they are countersink heads they sit above the reg and the cylinder wont tighten down fully
