Steyr palm shelves

    Where do people get there palm shelves from. Been looking at a 110 hunter but it has no palm shelf.

    Palm shelf, is that a hamster sorry still getting to grips with the terminology.

    A palm shelf is fixed to the bottom of the pistol grip to support the hand, strangely enough its shaped like a shelf.

    A hamster goes under the forend to increase the depth of the stock, it doesn't require feeding or mucking out. :D

    Thank you think I am getting the picture now. Do the slopes at the back of pistol grips count as a palm shelf?

    This one I knew never found out where the name came from, did read an urban myth that it had something to do with the young ones and vivians hamster.
