    OK....so how about this one?

Straight from my supplier the latest catalog with all 2011 Steyr airguns.

New for 2011 is a complete revised FT version of the LG110.
What I can see straight away from the pictures is:
    - standard but simple but hook
    - barrel 55cm long
    - longer frame, as seen on the benchrest models
    - larger/longer air cilinder
    - compensator on the barrel end, like the LP serie
    - bubble level on the scope rail
    - and a complete redesigned hamster....huge.

I hope the picture is good enough to get a fair idea what's changed.

    cheers,
    Rob

It also appears to be the Ambi action which can be cocked from either side

Yes, all Steyr LG110 models are now either left-hand or right-hand cocking, this is clearly stated on almost all pages.
Also a separat chapter on the reason for changing the name into Steyr Sport.

    Because it's the sport that count's! :)

Strange as I've just looked at the Steyr site & there doesnt appear to be any mention of the ambi cocking on any of the LG110's ??

I have just got the new HP Hunter and the frame has the slit for left hand cocking.

With "pages" I meant the pages of the new 2011 paper catalog, not the website pages ;)
But to confirm, both my new Steyr's, FT and Hunting can be used left or right as the frame is fully prepared for this.
    Regards,
    Rob

This looks like a sensible progresion of the design. Greater shot count, better balance and ambi. cocking. Pity about the weird hampster, where did that come from Ikea.

Not sure I like the slot on both sides. isn't it just another weakpoint for water / grit and dust to get into the trigger / hammer? Probably fine for a 10M gun but not great for a FT / HFT gun.

Here is the new FT gun from the 2011 catalogue. Interesting to note that it has been developed with help from the FT World Elite . Any idea who this may be.
The new gun is a Connect model with removable rear end. A good idea given the increased length. The new long receiver is only used on the FT and Benchrest models. The HP and Hunter models use the original short action which is retained on the 10m models.

    Any idea on pricing?

Also can the but hook be removed?

Looking at the dimensions is the height is too big for HFT with the hamster? Rules state 150mm from centre of barrel to bottom of stock.
