Steyr Bipod (like Walther sniper rifle)

    Wondering is this a Steyr made bipod :confused:

    ...anyone have ideas ? from IWA 2009 show.

    the one in the picture is an old Leapers bipod...I also had one mounted on my LG100HP like that...the rifle hangs from the bipod, works extremely well since the centre of balance is below the attachment point!

    Guido, does the bipod obscure a little through your scope set up ? I suppose with a Steyr rail It MIGHT overcome this problem with a big Nikko set up...

    Anyone know who sells these in UK ?

    no..it was not visible through the scope at high magnifications...it may show up at 10x or below perhaps..

    unfortunately those Leapers bipods were discontinued over 5 years ago...should be easy to make some sort of adapter though.
