Hi everyone, I'm hoping to clear up some questions I have regarding the rules of taking standing shots during HFT comps.
Can one for example and providing you have both feet only on the ground, 1:- crouch using you're knee(s)
to steady the gun, or maybe with one foot in front of the other steady your gun on the front leg, I do'nt see much difference between this and tucking your elbow into your tummy while standing upright.
Is there perhaps a maximum angle you are allowed to bend your knees, I really do'nt know and would be very grateful for the actual rules on this subject.
I'm hoping also that this will draw some opinions on the matter just out of curiosity, without of course wishing to appear to want to be changing any rule or rules that are already in place, looking foreward to any input you would like give, atb Terry.

Crouching shots are not allowed, this is defined as two feet on the ground with the upper part of the legs being supported by the calves or foot area

The above is an extract from the UKAHFT rules
