Needs more practise on harder courses.

Just want to say thank you to Ian Young and Paul Tyler for giving up their time to give us the course we shot today.
    FANTASTIC guys, thank you.
Some dark, difficult and long targets which tested the best.
We all asked how Craig missed the 32 yard Stander to miss out on the clearance, it happens.:D
My partner, Richard Woods, helped lift my game today and on 10 mag he was on fire and thoroughly deserved the HFT win and overall second place to Craig.
This is a comp to put in the diary for next year once the date has been fixed.
The AirGun Centre in Essex were our sponsor and we are very grateful for their support.
The main prize winners definitely had a smile on their faces.
Thanks to all that turned up and made it a fantastic maiden ESSEX OPEN at Springfield ARC.
    Cheers Barry

A big thank you and well done to Barry, Ian, Paul and the boys for putting on a great shoot today at Springfield ARC.
Good shooting from mini-kill on his 39 & an amazing shoot by Dopper; especially as, as far as I could see he was looking through the bottom of a milk bottle with a scope he presumably found in a box of corn flakes. Mega!
Good to meet and shoot round with some of our HFT brethren too; showing both sports are compatible and can co-exist.
Lastly, thanks to the Essex Airgun Centre for supporting the event - Dad I will be visiting soon, vouchers in hand! :)

    Today

Just like to say thanks to Springfield for today, really good fun (I must sort out my standing shots) It was great fun to shoot the course with an HFT'er. (how could they see some of those targets dark and out of focus).

And thanks to the Airgun Center for the prizes I guess I'll see them soon.
