Just bought a new smk pp700w, to use in pistol comps on hft and ft shoots. Instructions do not give any information on adjusting the trigger weight, as it seems very heavy to me. Does anyone know how to lighten the trigger pull?

    Thanks

I found the trigger tension spring was very harsh on mine Bob. Snip a few coils off it or find a shorter / lighter one helps make it a nice lighter release. Biro pens are a good source.....

Try watching Newtown naughty boys video on tube he shows how to strip and polish all the sear faces to improve the trigger pull and yes I know it sounds like a dodgy link but he chose the name not me

Polished mine and a lighter spring makes all the difference.

I polished the sears on mine it was a huge improvement nice and crisp, very predictable. the trigger return spring was a bit of a problem you do need three hands to get it back in, but its worth the hassle, now fitted a huma reg which works well, mine is the old model with the green grips, I don't think the cost of the reg warrants the improvement, it stops the spike as the air runs out, but I am sure this could have been achieved with a good internal clean and polish.
