Just got hold of a Skan Pro 1 chrono as I wanted something that could be used inside easier than my F1.

Tried it and it seems to be reading relatively low velocities compared to my F1. I am pretty sure that my F1 is about right, having had my rifle chrono'd elsewhere as well. The self check shows 333 as it should. Velocities are consistant as they should be, just 30-40fps low.

Anybody have any idea as to what Skan charge to recalibrate?

    Thanks

Only thing I can add Paul is the following.

Skan Pro 1 Diamond reads 10fps slower than my Pro chrono.

Skan reads the same as my combro at default settings. So they will be record 770-780fps even if the shots don't match the same when fired they fall into the same bracket.

I don't know about a Kestrel John have you considered prayer or a deal with the Devil.

    Thanks Gary.
I could live with a 10fps difference, but not sure that 30fps is sensible!! I am going to have to double check a rifle with another chrono to be certain as to which is wrong, but 99.9% sure it's the Skan.
It's never been used much at all, but has sat for quite a long time, not that that should make any difference.
