If you were one of the lucky ones who got their guns through Heathrow last night and have lost a silver TSA wire lock let me know the code and I'll get it back to you.

Don't put TSA locks on as all baggage handlers have a universal key that can open them.
Get yourself two good 4 digit combination locks.

Doesn't take much practice to just rake TSA locks open, or even less practice to use a set of jiggler keys on them.

What's the 'luggage information'...... if that's not a daft question. Is it something that all airlines offer or some electronic device you can put in your case.

This is the tracker device I'll be getting now.

    https://www.trakdot.com/en/trakdot-luggage-tracker-mobile

I'll put it in one of our guns and see how it does.

I think the real problem here was that fast transfer and missing it due to delay but I did check with the airline it wouldn't be a problem.

They'll be getting a report as will LHR police & border force because the way that regulations can be swept aside when it suits or have to be adhered to by the letter when it's our neck on the line is astounding. I'll also forward to BASC.

the number of unclaimed and unattended bags at HR Monday was shocking, must have been 15 or more bags left near our Belt (no7) from previous unload (?) and a lorry load stacked along the wall from god knows when and containing god knows what!!

Think the Heathrow 6 have got every thing, not 100%, me and Steve have. Only 200 mile round trip and 7 hours of driving to pick up.

But at least I discovered a phenomenon, the height of the bow wave coming off the front of the car and the amount of tarmac stripped off the motorway by floodwater is inversely proportional to the distance professional drivers give to an overtake or sit off your rear bumper in the 50 average zone.
