73 of us at a local comp and I don't think even the biggest turn out of the season so far... pretty good for a local series I think.... Top bombing Dave, Bob and Charles, with the Buxted wind pixies coming to reinforce their Ford cousins it made for an interesting shoot. I have to say that is one of the most unpredicatable winds I've shot in for a long time, at the peg I could feel it spinning around me yet 30 yards away it was as still as can be, 5 seconds later the opposite.

Roll on Buxted next Sunday so we can see if the Oakies can grab back that last 3 points.

Cheer Cliff and well done to Bob and Charles too !

This year I have been aiming off in the wind more than ever and it's now paying off , I shot the woods first and was aiming way off on a couple then completely the other way an the final pegs . That was bad enough but I was clear , then I had to contend with the wind  on that concrete  ... what the hell was that all about mate . lol

A good shoot that , I enjoyed it :) You didn't do too bad yourself matey either .

I dinked two kneelers and the stander, the one on the concrete due to wind pixies and 29 due to being rubbish... no excuses though but was frustrated at missing the easy ones and banking the harder ones. :(
