Side wheel adjustment Big Nikko MkII

    Does anyone have a link to how to adjust the side wheel play on a MkII big Nikko I saw a link years ago but am now unable to find it.

    Thanks very much they answer my question nicely :) i was hoping there was a way to adjust out a little back lash sadly it does not look like.

    I once packed out a sidewheel on a big nikko with a small strip of film neg.You have to strip the assembly down carefully and put a bit of film in one end the slot takes up the slack in the wheel.

    In the past I've cut thin shim from a Cola can, it mikes at 0.11mm, and made a top hat to go over the squared driving shaft so it shims both sides.
