I know Conor has had his new long version Steyr shortened, I want mine doing the same so that I can fit it into a Paul Wilson stock I have got. My question is....who does this mod of shortening the chassis? I have sent Jon Harris a PM on Facebook and am awaiting a reply. Thanks. Neil.

Yeah Neil, Jon H did mine. Very nice work he did too.

Unfortunately I have a patent on it as I have the only one of its kind, if you copy I can and will sue! LOL :D:D

    Conor,
I tend to use a Stihl saw on the springs, takes ages with the hacksaw... and the end gets all chewed up.
    Neil,
No worries matey, mind... i could use the Stihl saw on your Steyr?:D

You should start a swap thread – someone might be interested in swapping their standard length LG110 chassis for a long version?

It'd save you all the hassle of chopping yours, not to mention the effect it would have on its resale value?

    Cam.
