You will need to find someone to shoot with.

at regional events alot of shooters have regular partners and wont split.
Like love birds some of them.

Not a good thing in my book as the more people you shoot with, the more you get to know others and learn from different people.
But some things are forever stuck in the past it seems!!

I will shoot with you if you want?

Thanks very much for the offer, what time will you be there, I know a few people but nobody from my Club is going as far as I know, I wasn't sure whether I asked when I registered or walk up to a group and ask:eek:

I agree - coming to a comp for the first time is hard enough without having to find a partner when everyone else is already paired up.

NEFTA used to suffer from this a few years ago but the move to a shotgun start and lane allocations by the hosting club sorted the problem out.

Good point, you had better buy me a drink first lol!

I am hpoing to have a lift Sunday so am in the lap of the gods as they say but i suspect we will be there abut 9.30.
Look for a blue peugot van, or a silver Kia sportage?

Getyourself to the ground (I presume you know where it is / have sad nav instructions) get booked in £6 (probably being done by John Parry) and set up / checked on the zero range.
I may be shooting my SFT gun sunday so will fall out of the van onto the course lol!

Nelson can be muddy so good footwear is essential as the ground is a bit peat like and with the weather at the moment?

Again, your not really supposed to shoot with a club mate but its another "rule" not enforced in wafta, but as i said mixing is the best option anyway.

    See you Sunday

    Simon

Look for tall dark handsome chap.

Thats Jack, i will be the fat feller not far from him!

Oh hang about you will think I am Berty now lol:D
