I had my best score ever today at Sywell. Ask Phill Hollis. :)
It was just a club shoot, so no score cards, but even one the the committee men said that it was the best he'd ever seen me shoot. When I got home I found that my windage was 8 clicks from where it normally is - so I've re-set my zero accordingly.
Maybe I'm not such a cr#p shot after all - maybe it's just that I've been pointing the gun in the wrong direction :D

I don't know. No score card. But well over 30 I'd think. :)
Don't go and spoil it by asking what the score actually was Simon. Leave me with my little fantasy
It's Fenlands Winter League in the next couple of weeks and I'm looking forward to doing that. Maybe not all of the events. I'll probably take the camera to some.

    Well done Nick.
It was a WL. So you had a score card. What was your score? Good, I bet.

The only reason I didn't do a score card today was because I took young Phil [Mod23] around with me. And I know he struggles not to get depressed when he's shooting with me. He's only top of A grade Fenlands - so he still has a bit of learning to do :D:D:D:D
(in all honesty - Phill took most of his shots as standers & still beat me)

Now Simon ~ you know that I was only contracted to the MFTA to cause the wee one as much grief as possible. And I did that exceptionally well, I thought. By the end of the last Winter League he was missing shots that I was getting with ease. Admittedly, for some of the targets it was getting rather dark and he was taking his shots standing. But when you're only a dewarf, standers are necessary if he wants to see the target.
This year I'm off to plague the Fenlands. No-one has warned Roger Moy or Simon Ayres.
    I'm Sywell's Secret Weapon :D

36 is a great score Nick. You must be very pleased with that. :)

Simon Ayres is a geophysicist - so he's smarter than the average bear - he's also a very very good shot.
But he doesn't know about my new boots yet. :D

I wish you well for the remainder of the Midland Winter League

You didnt do to bad this sunday either Nick gettin 33/40 with the heavy mist and having to use someone elses gun and scope:cool:

IF thinking of Simon Ayres hes currently the Euro`s champion, think he uses a Steyr and a DPM scope like you borrowed yesterday.

I think sunday was a bit of luck and teamwork, you didn't do so bad yourself. Good fun.
