Hi all, looking for a bit of advice, I have a new Ev2 arriving on Thursday, any thoughts of glassware to go on top preferably under £300.

All target until I can pluck up courage to get into competition, Indoors up to 15yards outside to 50 yards.

Don't mind secondhand as long as it is mint.

    Thanks in advance.

You might be able to pick up a MK1 Big Nikko/BSA for around that figure, they're pretty good and reliable, or if you could stretch to £400 you could get a brand new Falcon T50 or a second hand MK2 or 3 Big Nikko. All good scopes. There's also the Nikko Targetmaster 10-50 for under £300 :D

They'd all be good for FT, or for HFT you'd have plenty of choice with 10x scopes, Viper etc...

Agree with Steve - 2nd hand Big Nikko. I think that for £300 you should be able to pick up a Mk2.

    Good luck Shaun

I hope you are talking about an FT scope as spending on the recomended choice of a big nikko if your planning on shooting HFT would not be a wise move! What are you planning on setting yourself up for, FT or HFT?

    Simon.

Thanks to all for the responses, much appreciated.

I will probably put my Mamba lite on for now, and keep my eyes on the sale section.

For now it looks like FT if I decide to go competitive.
