    Hi all,

Was wondering what the thoughts were on 1 piece mount v 2 piece mounts,
Would there be less chance of getting crossover with the 1 piece.
Also while Ive got your attention is it only worthwhile optically centering your scope if you
    Have adjustable mounts,

    Thanks Ian.

Is it for a spring gun or PCP. Either way, I don't use 1 piece on my springers, although I have tried them. I have both types of 2 piece mounts on my guns, adjustable and non adjustable,,and the adjustable ones are better for optically entering your scope which is recommended. Neil.

Ok cheers,it's a pcp,so if you optically centre your scope, then fit it to fixed mounts and then zero it,it probably defeats the object of centering does it?

    Thanks Ian.

you could try shimming your mounts if you are way off centre.
some mounts just sit flatter on some guns than others as the dove tails can be slightly different width causing the mounts to lean to one side

    Prefer BKL mounts these days.
