    Good morning all,

Question, does a scope enhancer change the eye relief of a scope?

I noticed that when I take the scope enhancer off my March 1-10x24 and assume my normal cheek weld, my eye is far too close.
The measured eye relief with scope enhancer is approx. 7 cm, 2 cm less than the minimum eye relief as stated on the March website.

    Best,
    Jonas

I added a 70 mm long rubber tube part of a Bisley enhancer. With out it I would need to move scope closer. Sightron S111 10-50x60.

Bear in mind it's the distance from the optic glass surface to the surface of your eye, not the length of the enhancer which will probably sit on your eye socket and on some people that can be way forward. I think it would be quite uncomfortable to get that measured :)

Setting the ocular to your eyesight can change it, as can glasses.

But no, the scope can't 'know' if you've got a rubber sock on it or not.
