    Hi All,
I'm looking for a flip scope cover for my new Sightron III 10-50x60 scope.
On the Butler Creek scope chart it comes under the #54 size but no-where sells them.
So does anyone know where I can get one? No matter what brand.
    All the best
    John

Is the 69mm the outside size or was that a typo for 60mm?

When you find one, I would like two please!
I really cant understand why Butler Creek stopped making scope covers for the most popular FT scope (Big Nikko) And I dont understand why Sightron make such good scopes and such pathetic scope caps!!!

    Good luck with your search.

    Atb,

    Alec.

    69mm Scope cover

    Hi,
The external diameter of the objective end of the scope is 69.2mm to be exact.
    Kind regards
    John

    Hi Tim,
I've had a look at the site but can't see anything near the 69mm mark so I've emailed them about the problem. I'll see what they say and post the result if I get any joy.
    Thanks for your help
    John

Just click the drop down box and select 60mm :)

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick here, but are you saying that the 60mm cover fits a 69mm diameter scope?

The 60mm refers to the objective lens size, the scope cover is bigger to account for the wall thickness of the scope/sunshade.
I have just measured the internal diameter of my scope cover (Nikko) and it is about 72mm, might be a bit loose on your Sightron but nothing that can't be cured by putting a circle of electrical tape around the inside of the scope cover to take up the slack.
At £7 you can't really go wrong ;)

    Cover for 10-50x60 Sightron SIII

I tried the Nikko cover from Scopes Direct and it fitted but was of such poor quality I sent it back.
So, the search for a cover for my objectives lens continues.
    All suggestions welcome.
    Many thanks
    John
