    Thanks fellas.

Its 2017 at this stage till we get our turn to host the WFTF champs. But if anyone is intending to come down for the Rugby World Cup in 2011, we might just put on an invitational World Series of a couple of comps.

Come watch the rugby, have a holiday, and have a shoot at the same time.

I might raise this idea a bit later on to gauge support.

    cheers

Do more than come have a look, bring your Rifle! There's bound to be a shoot on you can have fun at. Whether it is one of the National Series rounds or a club event, (depending on where you will be) Failing that, let us know on the www.nzairgunners.com forum and we may have a rifle you can borrow.

Be sure to bring lots of goodies with you, such as scope levels, scope enhancers etc etc and you could actually turn a profit.

    cheers

You just know it's going to be a good 'un, I know the SA boys & girls are really up for it so the competition will be stiff.
European's have got to happen first though, it's all too much excitement for one boy to take!

Well the England team has been decided on... and I have the trophy on my living room table... I'll probably send it ahead, just so SA can get a touch of the thing before we bring it back :D

Hold your horses Rob, I think the South African boys and girls have a secret weapon. I seem to recall mention of "Peach Schnaps". Good thing I am tee-total.

I have first hand experience of kiwi shooters hospitality, anyone contemplating going over that side of the planet should take time out to visit a shoot, you won't regret it!

That is once you get used to them asking to borrow your pin to score a lane, and telling you that lane tin was tough...

We'll be back at some point Adam, if they let us in!

Good to see you on here :)

Cardiff was home for them until '56, then they hopped a boat to NZ with 2 kids and 100 pounds.

I have cousins all over the place from North of the Scots border, thru the midlands, Cardiff, Swansea and London.

There's a statue of a distant relative in Bristol somewhere, Edward Colston. Not direct lineage, more an Uncle on my Father's side. Didn't get to see Bristol last visit in "98.

I did get to see a lot of South Wales last visit, and loved it. Visited all the places My Mother told me about from her youth. Caerphilly Castle, Cardiff Castle, Roath Park lake, The Mumbles, ....family plot/church...family homes, and I vowed after that experience if there was any other place on earth I could live, Wales was it!:)

    cheers
