Hello i would like to upgrade my s400 22 fac carbine ( 2008 model) to a fac rifle

i already have 1 spare extra fac cylinder (520mm) and i would like to order 1 full length 22 cal barrel.

must i have to order an extra fac or only fac barrel?

what's the main différences and what's about the figure eight?

    thanks for your help

    a little frenchy:D

The Classic barrel is about 400 long, and the FAC cylinder is about 520 long. So you will need an extension sleeve over the end of the barrel. This will be larger in diameter than the barrel, so you will also need the FAC figure of eight.

    Thanks rich,

my s400 carbine is approximatively 380mm long so i think the classic is approximatively 100mm longer no?

AA spec is 395mm for the carbine and 494mm for the classic, but i dont know if it's with the over tube or not.

Is it possible to mount an extra fac barrel without the over tube?

what's the barrel diameter of the extra fac barrel?

Yes, the Classic is nominally 100mm longer than the Carbine, and the FAC tube is another 120mm or so longer again.

The FAC version has a shroud around the barrel. The barrel itself is the same size as normal. 12mm diameter or slightly under, mine measures 11.92mm.

The brass extension sleeve in the photo is 15.9mm diameter and fits the FAC figure of 8 clamp perfectly.
