    Guys
Can an s400 be easily converted from .22 to .177? With just a barrel change and power adjusting?

Yes but you will also need the pellet loading probe replaced or turned down to fit in the .177 barrel.

The breech needs to be removed to get the barrel out as there is a location screw underneath in addition to the securing screws on top.

Would have thought the whole breech needs to be changed as the loading tray would be the wrong height as well

No, All 400 actions have a pellet channel the same size which is big enough for .22, only the MPR breech has a pellet channel specifically for .177.
