As title, what's the situation if you run out of air mid shoot? Can you go back to the car for a fill and maybe take 10-15 mins or has your lack of prep just cost you the remaining points.

That's a difficult one John as we don't really want a number of people leaving the course mid shoot to fill their guns as it would hold everything up.

The best option is to ensure your rifle is filled before you shoot but if it doesn't hold enough air to complete the course then ask the chief Marshal if you can leave you bottle on the course at an ideal spot for you to refill.

Allowing people to disappear from the course for that period of time would also be open to abuse from people possibly altering their setting or equipment & couldn't really be marshalled

Thanks for that Pete, i will just push it on a bit if you dont mind.
I agree that if your gun wont do 30 shots then some arrangement with the chief marshall before your first shot would be fair.
But would the air situation not be covered in the rule that says no allteration to your set up after the first shot is fired?

The air situation wouldn't be specifically covered by that rule at it's talking scope settings & stock position.

Mine was just fine Chris. Twas a Walther.

It was just one of those things that happens. I just wanted some clarification of the rules as another time it maybe the difference between winning and loosing.

Some of us (me you and a few others:)) need all the help we can get..
