As Steve mentioned above although old (I shoot a Mk2 Rn10 dating from 1996 with a Mk3 reg, look for 7 grooves as this reg is far better than the original Mk1&2 regs) accuracy wise, and if serviced and looked after reliability wise they are as good as anything else. Parts are available and repairs are easy as these rifles are well understood. Yes modern rifles lock times are a little quicker if anything but this soon stops being an issue.

I have an RN10 mk2 like Will and it is as accurate as my other guns.

If I decided to give bench rest a go I think my RN10 would be first choice as it is super accurate.

    Good .

these are a decent rifle . not expensive . usually reliable and accurate . BUT they do not like getting wet . if you buy one , after use in the rain . make sure you strip it out and give it a good going over . make sure also to take the trigger unit plate off , cos water can and does get behind it .??? Enough of the childish squabling and back to the subject :D

Had my RN10 out at at the club and shot the course with it (first time it has been properly shot at the Wendover GP, was that June?) And apart from feeling a bit strange and top heavy in comparisson to the 2002 its as every bit as accurate and dependable as it ever was.
