Ricochet - 123 yards in .177

    It is not uncommon the shooter make a mistake, this video shows the difference between a direct hit and a hit with ricochet.
    Even losing power is a shot that can do much damage.

    One of my friends and I have shot clays (around 4" in diameter) at well over one hundred yards at or home range with sub 12ft/lbs rifles. It is surprising how accurate modern air rifles are, once you have figured out an aimpoint for the distance.

    Yes indeed, although it would have substantially less energy that the pellets in the video!

    I Have shot at a measured 100 yds with a 12 Ft lb rifle and the pellet is still flat bar the head being squashed off centre due to the angle of the dangle when impacting, i suspect it is flat due to the pellet not landing head on but about 45*
