Why not, it won't cost anything other than time to create and would give a place for threads about classic kit.

Is this for vintage shooters or guns/scopes?

I will be in it either way. Conor is too young to remember pre EV2.

I was talking to a 17 year apprentice the other week and he thought I was joking, when I said I can just remember the moon landings in black and white!!!

I think it would be a good idea seeing some of the interest in Simons Shamal purchase. I presume that it could cover anything no longer i production. GC2's Pro Targets, NJR's , in fact most of my gun collection.

    Definitely yes.
Shaun's early ISP rifles created a ton of interest on the BBS and I'd be more than interested to read about other engineers early offerings, along with classic old rifles and scopes that I've forgotten about.

    Cheers, Craig

I've been shooting these things since the 60's so it sounds good to me.

    :D;):p

The cylinder & trigger housing + guard (but not the trigger blade) are original, oh and the breach pins!! I never had it in bits for 30 years then went "a bit mad" with it!

    Hi Rob,

Was wondering how far back in years would a gun need to be to be called Retro or Vintage?

    Pre 90's?

I find there is a lot of satisfaction and pleasure shooting vintage airguns in competitions at Lea Valley.Certainly the FWB300s is suprising accurate at 30yds with a peep sight.Shooting the GC2 in UKAHFT competitions is very competitive and productive of wins and that is only 23 years old, which has a way to go to beat my HW77 which is 32years old and still winning.
The quality of older guns at times is exceptional and a credit to the craftsmen who made them.
