in this months edition of Airgun Shooter there is a letter reporting the demise of UKSARC

this is a surprise to myself and the people who shot the first round on Sunday. I have written to the editor of the magazine requiring this to be retracted.
if a person feels the need to write this kind of letter maybe they should first of all contact the people involved in it.:eek:o:eek:o:eek:o

I heard about the letter, and was surprised to see round 1 covered here with that considered... seems madness to report the end of a series and days later for the series to start a new season... who wrote the letter?

As far as i can remember....if a publication prints Without checking the source of information to be correct ( printing outright lies), then they can be sued for libel. Id ask for a FULL PAGE retraction (not a single line at the back) and some sort of compensation

So you wont post the scores on this site (Unlike all the other tournaments will), but you are happy to use it to promote your business?

Hi Gary, I initially reacted the same as you when reading his response but if you look at an earlier post you will see the reason for not posting the scores is not down to Cosford.

The way I read it Chris, is people don't want their names on **********. There is nothing stopping Cosford from putting the scores up on shooting the breeze. In my 9 years of competitive shooting, I have never experienced any genuine person who does not want their scores to be put up.

If there are people who want to remain anonymous, i have to answer the question why? Could it be that they're not allowed to use a firearm for legal reasons, or are they trying to hide from some kind of social services

I do agree with you as to the reasons why people don't want their names up.....seems a bit odd:confused:, but if it's what they've asked for?

Simple. if you don't want your scores to be put in. Then don't hand your card in.

Simple rule, if you hand your card in, then your scores go on the web.
