Removable air cylinders

    Do these have a test date?? Or do we just keep using them for ever??

    Daft question i know, but i have found an Anshutz 2002 for sale, but the seller is not selling it with the air tube due to being out of date??

    air tubes dont come under the pressure sytems and transpotable gas containers regs if they are under 250 bar litres (volume x prssure )

    i remember this coming up on airgun bbs . you can get all the info of the net it is a mind blowing document to read .

    They don't come under the UK test procedure as already stated. I have read that in some countries they are banned from competition unless under10 years old or re-tested.( possibly relating to Germany).

    This came up on the BBS a couple of weeks ago. It may be law in Germany/Austria but it isn't here. ISSF regulations mean you can't use them >10 years old in high level 10m comps but I think it's ok at club level.

    Offer to take the tube off his hands "for free disposal", then screw it back on and away you go ;)
