    Hi All.

I have managed to get my hands on the Reg Tester from Beneke Sports.
I must be blond at the moment as I cannot work out how to fit the reg etc to the tester and it did not come with instructions?

    any help?

    LG110

    Thanks
    Errol.

I've spoken with Errol and already have some photo's on my home computer......there were some regs that had a different orientation to the holes and as a result won't fit the standard Steyr reg checker....which is the one that Errol has from Benke.

I will take a look later and post again with the photo's.

Sounds like your reg is like mine.
The spacing of the bolt holes is 90 degrees out from the standard reg. Steyr made a batch of these a while ago. It doesn't affect the fitment to the gun but the reg will not fit correctly to the tester. The cut outs at the back of the reg prevent it from sealing on the o ring in the tester.
You can just about get it to fit and seal the o ring if you just use 2 bolts and fit it "across the corners" of the tester's bolt spacing.
If you speak to Steyr nicely, they will offer you a solution....

Photos would be good please Chris, as I almost bought one of these from Benke.
I hang on until I know a bit more.

    Thanks.
Mine was made by a Spanish guy. Fits and works just fine.
    Good luck Errol.

    High All.

    thanks for the help.

I managed to sort it out, I was only able to use two of the screws. I have the original reg that came with the rifle that was 120Bar, I have now removed the 9th washer and changed the directions of the remaining washer so that I have an 85Bar reg.

    Thanks
    Errol.
