    Hi all,

what are the sizes of O-rings inside LG110 reg.?

Big one on the piston has expanded from something so I need to replace it and while doing it I would like to replace all O-rings in the reg.

While on the subject, should parts inside reg. be oiled or should everything be dry?

Everything inside is metal on metal contact so I presume it should be lightly oiled but just wanted to be sure.

    Thank you!
    Best regards

Thank you for a fast reply!

    8,92 x 1,78?

Was it so hard for them to make it standard 9,00 x 2,00?

    Would 8,92 x 1,83 work fine?

Or should I rather buy original o.-ring set?

    Thank you!
    Best regards

    steyr 'o' rings

    1.5 x 1
    3 x 1.5
    both are metric
other 'o' ring is 8.92 x 1.83 according to steyr parts list, which is BS904.

Most steyr 'o'o rings were advertised on the bay.

    My mistake 8.92 x 1.83 or bs904

Got my wires crossed with the 5.28x 1.78 which is breech to bolt .
    Sorry to mislead

    Silly billy :)

    Hi,

I've finally received O-rings for the reg. so I'm about to rebuild it.

Should anything inside the reg. be lubed/oiled?
    Belleville washers, O-rings?

    Thank you!
    Best regards

I use a thin smear of Molykote 111 on the o rings , and a light coat of oil in the bellevilles .

Check that each end of the piston moves freely in its bore whilst fitted with the chosen o ring before assembly .
Too tight and the reg won't recover quickly , too loose and it will leak. Check the delrin seat too for nasty ridges

whatever you use ,dont go mad as it may well migrate and end up all over your hammer.........you dont want that
