Hi I have a big nokko MK3 what is the best way to recenter the reticle
I have the same scope and had the same question.
I rang Nikko and they said the easiest way is to count number of clicks from one end of range to the other and divide in half on both elevation and left to right.
That's what I was thinking but didn't know if anyone had found a better way
With a mirror.
Lie a mirror flat, stand the scope on the mirror, pack it up on three pound coins, shine a torch on mirror.
Will see two cross hairs, adjust till just one.
What magnification do I do it on and what about parelax
Low mag and infinity, but just turn both till you get the best view.
But place coins in triangle so scope is plumb with mirror, just to get a little light in.
IV just had a go at that and it don't seem to work for me
Did you use a torch and pack it up.
Has it got a sun shade on, take off if so.
It helps to have a mirror with a thickish glass, gets more light.
Check your inbox.
No sun shade and packed up too
Will check now
Use the 'rotating in' method as mentioned in the BFTA manual.
