    RE parralaxing a Vortex 2.5-10x32 gen 1

Evening, I have the scope above and looking to get the parallax down to about 20 yards rather than the 34 yrd standard lowest setting. Anyone can do this or know of anyone who can, if so what sort of time will it take and cost, many thanks (I have read how to do it but i'm so heavy handed I will definitely break it so rather pay)
    many thanks

Message back from them saying they don't do it but it can be done, however Vortex have informed them it will be technically voiding the warranty, so I will have a think about it, thanks for your help

Well that would make it pretty much useless for HFT, I have the same scope and mine was already done when I bought it second hand.

I will see if I can find out who did it, but it might be best to sell it on to a FT shooter and buy a scope better suited to HFT, there are a few posts on here about the new hawke scope that sound very encouraging

I had Vortex Diamondback HD some time ago, and parallax change was very easy. I had to unscrew this thin front ring, then turn inner ring with lens to set new range of clear picture, and then screw back front ring. Not sure if it will work with Your scope, but it may be worth to try before You send it somewhere. :)

I have got home and turned the whole end from the outside and the lens turned with it, it seems to be clear at the distance I wanted so im hoping I have done it right, will shoot it tomorrow and hopefully zero etc is good still, thanks for the message
