What great day for shooting. My first visit to Quarry and what a place it is. After a tour around South Wales before getting there (thanks Ian) the usual chat and banter began. I was starting on peg 23 Supported stand/kneel with Richard and Jason, and was clear until peg 30 and under ranged. Moving to lanes 1, 2, (chrono) and 3 I was still only 1 down. 21 out of a possible 22. Wondering a bit about the terrors of Quarry and then...…..2 plates, doughnut.....plate ...doughnut (bolt not pushed down and air released but not pellet!) in fact I only got 24 out of the last 38 …….. Very chastened in the end, but well worth it.

Thanks to Pete and the Quarry crew,

    Steve C.

That's the Quarry that the majority of us know and love Steve. Good job it wasn't windy mate, yesterday was a gentle breeze by Quarry standards.

What a brilliant way to end the 2019 UKAHFT National Series :)

A superb course, almost "Mediterranean" weather, and really good to see Tench back shooting (and winning!) again - nice one, Simon.

This was my first HFT shoot ever and I would like to thank everyone for a warm welcome. The corse setters for all their work, and a very great thank you to Perry Broad who took the time to help me around the course and gave me some very good pointers for the future, a gentleman with a lot of patience. many thanks
