    Quarry Today

Not a bad turnout at Quarry today considering the weather, with an interesting course laid out in equally interesting winds. They blew left & right, up & down - doing the usual Quarry kind of stuff and some more. :rolleyes:Only a little rain at the latter end of the shoot which did not dampen anyones spirits at all:rolleyes:. Good shooting from Peter Underwood and Peter Higgins. Peter Underwood just pipped his boy Andrew who scored a cracking 34 ex 40 to come in as top junior and Gareth James pipped his son Stephen. Gareth James tried to run off without handing his card in-we caught him and managed to prise it from his clawed fists to post tonight against all his protests: I hate seeing grown men cry- the motto being Gareth- 'Dont bother to run -you'll only cry tired'. D:D:D:D
A cracking black eye on Mark Wall too- there I said it and dont ask!:D:D

Excellent shooting by young Andy !! Well done mate ;)

The youngsters are really coming on - and it's great to see !

A fortnight or so ago, young Anthony Higgins strolled up to a 30 yard stander & a 25 yard kneeling or standing (neither of which were straight forward) and knocked them straight down . . . standing for both !

The two adults he was shooting with (one his father and the other . . . me) then plated them both  LOL !!!

You should have seen the big smile on his face - combined with that look of total satisfaction - as we walked to the next target :D
