Cracking shoot - evil wind but at least the rain held off. Good craic shooting with Chris Coombes. Big thanks to the burger man and his assistant and well done Quarry members on a testing course.

We had a good day Pete thanks to everybody at Quarry from the club members to the guests there today.
Me........ I just took the money chatted (like that's a new thing) and Darryl did all of the important stuff.
BIG thanks to Pete Dutton who is giving Ells gun the once over after it went a bit off colour today. He took the time to explain where the hang up was, what he would do and also spotted a couple of other things that he could rectify at the same time. It's very much appreciated by the clan.
As for the shoot, it was nice to get back and see the Quarry family and it looks like some brilliant shooting there today. Can you get it astro-turfed next time as I'm not great in mud.
    Regards Andrew

I really love the Extreme format, the targets are very difficult but nobody seems to mind when they miss & you are always amazed when you get that really difficult target

    Cracking course today:D

In a nutshell pete- that is a cracking description of the feel and experience of the extremes. This is probably what the organisers wanted originally- good humoured but challenging shoots.
    Good shooting today too mate.

Hit the nail on the head there mate, a really testing format with loads of banter. People seem to remember it for those really challenging shots they hit not the one's they missed.:)

My score seems to be going backwards, but still loving it. So much so i have applied for a few rounds this coming series. Bit more practice with the new kit and i hope to be getting something more respectable. Thanks all for making me feel welcome, and for a cracking, wind swept course.

    I shot the breeze

... and the breeze won :(:D:confused:
Great day at Quarry, thanks to the organisers and the course setters for all the hard work.
Thanks to Mr Welham and Malcolm for transport and good company and the Underwoods for moral support on the way round.

This must have been the most technically difficult course I have ever shot:eek:

Well done to Mark for a quite superb 63 and the others in the high 50s:D

Right I'm off to find my wheels, cos they fell off on top of a windswept Welsh mountain.
I'll get Laity to help me as he is an expert in this kind of thing.:p

    I had wind....

Ok, so who upset the course setters before they put the course out ?
Really testing course and conditions, but enjoyed every minute of it (excluding the 420 mile round trip - thanks Gary)
Many thanks to the Quarry team and organisers, and to John for good company.
Very well done to Mark and the other top shots.

    Regards
