From our side here the only restriction is that the airgun must have less than 16 fpe (24 Joules) and maximum caliber 0.22 (5.5mm), to be safe probably should be better to declare it as a sporting good since many companies refuse to transport guns.

I can ´t recomend a carrier what I recomend is that you remove the action from the stock it will make the package shorter.

    A couple of final options..

www.dpd.co.uk ...(the same DPD.de , that is used by Germans when sending airguns from Germany by Shops or Individuals, but the UK DPD may have different terms & conditions on sending OUT of UK, airguns..).

Or, have the buyer in Portugual, initiate the whole process/quote in Portugal, for the Portugese courier to get their UK courier 'counter part' to pick up from UK, and deliver back to Portugal...as this might do the trick (all kosher, since original paperwork is done on Portugese side, and UK counterpart is fulfilling an order that did NOT originate in UK - per or against their UK company policy) ... and if this works, cost could be split bothways ?

That's why I told you to declare it as a sporting good.

If they don't ship air rifles, how can you send a German rifle to factory for a tune or repair?
