    ...right place, wrong time...

    I'm now a member. :eek::eek::D

    Thanks to (B)Ryan for taking me round the course and introducing me to Jon so he could hear the bad news about me wanting to join!

    Have to say, what the chaps have done with the land at Greyhound is excellent. The plinking\zero range is tops! The wind is...er...interesting and I'm sure I'll learn a great deal shooting there! :eek:;)

    I'm aiming to get up there at least every other week if not more. If you're a sensible distance away from Coventry then I'd recommend a visit.

    Top stuff racing dog fellas! :)

    Don't blame you for joining mate it's a cracking club;)
    I must say that taking part in the Midlands hunter this year opened my eyes and gave me the opportunity to shoot at some cracking places that up until now I didn't know excised....the Greyhound, Millride and Furnace Mill all being amongst them. Hope I get chance to visit them all again in the near future:)

    Actually the correct term is 'Citizens of the Faithful City' :cool:

    Give us a shout when you fancy going. I might pop up next Sunday if there's no FT comp going on (what with my back the way it as at the mo' and my belly getting in the way, there's no way I could assume the sitting position! :eek::D).

    Tempting and the wind at Quarry is pretty challenging but looking after the dog this weekend so can't be away for that long; Quarry's 90 minutes away Greyhound's 45! :cool:

    Besides, mixing with salt of the earth Midlands types is good for my soul! ;)
