The Iron Plate Action Shooting association holds several meetings a year throughout the country at which people test their skills of speed and accuracy by shooting their Multi-Shot CO2 pistols and Brocock TAC pistols at various sized metal plates set at varying heights and distances. This discipline is based on the Americans "Steel Challenge" where the same layouts are used but shot with "real Steel" pistols. The British Open competition was held at Lea Valley on Saturday 4th June 2011 click HERE for some photos taken during the event and HERE for the new I.P.A.S. forum board which has recently been set up. On this forum you will find the constitution and rules of the IPAS association as well as discussion, information and event details.
