My newest design is a versatile and affordable trigger for AirArms EV-2 rifles. I designed 3 adapters for shooters with short/normal/long fingers. The new PinPoint Adapters give an adjustment range of 30 mm (from 12 to 42 mm, measured from the frame behind the trigger), instead of the original 14 mm (17-31 mm).

The new adapter system is using my PinPoint Trigger blades. I designed these blades after a couple years of experimenting. Many advantages, for less than half price of a machined metal trigger blade.

Also for Steyr, Anschütz and Walther rifles, in a few days... :)

...I'm wondering what the maximum offset that shooters ever wanted is... (Measured from the rifle's symmetry plane to the trigger blade's centre).
    – Is 0-9.6 mm offset plenty?
    – Or up to 15.3 mm would be better?
    – Maybe some would need an extreme offset of 20-25-30 or even more?

Please don't forget that from now on, all your wishes can come true: just tell me what you'd like to see on your rifle, and an orange-coated, bearded fairy can bring it to life for you :)

There are a few new adapters, so PinPoint trigger is compatible with EV-2, Feinwerkbau, Steyr and Walther rifles now. These new rifles have a double trigger rail that is not so awkward to design as it was for the EV-2, so there's only one version for each model, that can be used on both trigger rails for right/left handed shooters. And equally good for short/long fingers, as it can be simply rotated on the rail for the short/long position.

I'm still pondering on the more extreme offset versions, I can design one this is not a problem, but I'd recommend to keep the trigger blade in the symmetry plane of the rifle. Originally, I designed my offset trigger blade for bringing it back to the axis because my FWB has got a double trigger rail and the factory trigger couldn't be central at all. This is only a side effect that if you rotate it out, the same trigger system works as a 9.6 mm offset trigger. I think that an offset up to 40 mm wouldn't be a problem to design, though. I hope that this 40 mm would be more than enough for anybody, right?

I've checked it today: the EV-2 triggers are fully compatible with the FTP-900, too...

    Hi Andras

Can I have an EV2 one please?

I can nip over and pick it up as I am only in Huthwaite.

    Regards

I added a couple of new types, so the triggers are compatible with the following rifles:
    • AirArms EV-2 / FTP-900
    • Anschütz
    • Feinwerkbau
    • Steyr
    • Walther
The new adapters are symmetrical and can be used by right/left handed shooters and with short/long fingers as well so there's only one trigger for each rifle.

I'll have some with me at GP1 this Sunday...

Got mine in the post on Wednesday, opted for a couple of different blades just to play with, fitted the LG110 perfectly and feels spot on. very neat job and the "crinkle" finish is just enough to stop the "ball" blade being slippy.

    Good work Andras

Thanks Colin, I'm glad to hear that the trigger works fine :)

I'll have some with me at NEFTA Classic tomorrow.

Some new photos about the PinPoint trigger on different rifles (EV-2, Steyr, Anschütz, Walther):

Let me introduce my latest design, a new PinPoint trigger blade that has been designed specially for shooters who are struggling to reach the trigger:
    trigger for extra short fingers.
