'pinging'

    Hi all, my first post since bying my LG110 Highpower, im in love! just one niggle, how can i stop it pinging, or is there a mod to make it a little quiter?

    There is. PM Scooby as i'm sure he knows about this. It's not a problem with the gun, just something it does.

    Its caused by resonance in the hammer and is a feature of a lot of the LG110 guns, my own LG100 with a 110 hammer in does exactly the same thing. As Rob said, drop Scooby a PM as I'm sure he does a mod to silence it :) I was going to do something about mine but 3yrs down the line I don't even notice it does it anymore:D:D

    large mod a rubber insert in the hammer spring no pinging steyr,s here

    I inserted a cut open plastic straw (used to drink) inside the hammer spring, resulting in a far less spring noise. Its a 2 cent modification with result. :)

    just a big thanks to all who replied to my question, iv all but got it sorted, with the sleave inside the hammer spring, once thanks again.
