Phil s Day at Worcester SARC practice .....

The wind blew & blew ....

But 16 hardy souls turned up for the official SARC practice .

Johnny Smith came up to inspect, was not happy , too many “gimme†shots he thought ...

But it was fun , give wind & the pellet goes straight where aimed ... Curses ...

Next target don t give wind & the pellet whistles off into the far yonder ....

However Phil Tombs was the man ... all his practice on mini kills paid off today .

All ties decided on count back .

Well done to every one who braved the weather & came out to have a bit of fun .
Shooting up in the woods was definitely a bit of a challenge , trying to figure out where the wind was whirling , lifting , dropping or doing absolutely nothing ....

Next week sees Round 1 of the UK Sporting Air Rifle Challenge , at the Worcester club .

    Todays s results :-

    Top shooting Phil :shot:

    10mm kills "gimmes" :eek::eek::eek:

Thought doing 2 laps of the course made it much more interesting - wind was doing something totally different second time round :D

Me and my big mouth, I decided to shoot kneeling and standing yesterday but I forgot that there are 10mm kills in SARC, doh!

    Well shot Phil!

To be fair to Ian S, he shot most of the course kneeling as well, it was a good effort considering he normally shoots a PCP.

    Where was v bbq?

Had a good day today. Shooting the same target twice on two laps was a good move.

Thoroughly enjoyed meself, great grounds and some really tricky shots. Uphill downhill, long uns, short uns, teeny tiny kills the lot. Oh and that wind:D Great fun :)
