Might be the photo, but it looks like some wear on the nearest outside face?
My 110 was exactly the same and took a firm push with a thumbnail to seat pellets, not good for accuracy.

Colin I think a previous owner has fitted an HW barrel to this rifle it is the complete opposite Of the very generous lead that a standard barrel has

Ah ok that explains it...I wish Steyr had fitted a decent barrel to my 110 as it was total garbage...;)

Mines not a twin slot Rob.
I’m thinking it’s because I’ve moved the barrel slightly forward to accomdate the insert , resulting in the stabalizer traveling further forward , with the slop pushin the tip up more.
I’ll see if I can back it off a bit.

    Sounds logical to me.

I’m not a fan of imparting off axis forces into bolts.

I’ve just remembered my design to get around it. Shame it needs a completely new gun built...

I too had to move the barrel forward & the action back a little bit.

The pellet marks on the pellet pusher thingy me job!
Looks like I need to clean the pellets too,, I never wash & lube then etc etc..

However it looks worse then it is as i used my camera flash.

Smaller , (hopefully self centralising ) TMBs ( hopefully going out today ) Softer o rings too
There was simply no need for me to make them as tight to the holes as i did so thanks to the team for finding this so quickly.

Seemed ok on Mikes rifle last night even with his gigantic AA pellets .

We re- worked the leade so that my jsb would go in past the end of the barrel if pressed hard with ball of thumb . No chance with these AA , still sticking out , and shaving , so we went a bit deeper on leade and they now seem to seat ok .
Chrony was fairly steady and I dont think were clipping or shaving or rubbing .

Mikes got 2 sizes of Tmb to test now , a short 2.5 ( ish ) mm for the tight AAs and a 3mm for a less gigantic pellet .

Interesting to note the large difference in fps between ......

Original very sharp leade and the new one . We had to reduce power by 30 odd fps afyer making the new leade .

new larger re-worked leade and the first re-worked leade, I think we needed to put about 10 or 15 fps back on .
This got me thinking that may be he may need an even deeper tmb for slacker pellets .

I send new Mk 2 'Slack Alice' Tmbs to all testers. If your name isn't here or you wanna join , give me a nudge 'cos like a div i threw my posting list away ......Yeah i know

names in random order so don't go getting precious ..........

ha-ha Slack Alice,,,, is there a story or 3 behind that one mate?? ;)

Sounds good on the new modded item ( the pellet pusher thingy me bob ) , My FPS is normal ( i think ) using a skan well 2 of them, with the pellet pushers that I've had off you.
Power needed a tweak & the barrel \ action moving a bit forward or backwards, but its all part of testing a 'new' or modded part!
I use jsb exacts .177 by the way. I will take a few photos of the steyr barrels that I've got asap.

Initial feed back from No.1 overseas (south ) field tester . Reports ''Slack Alice'' to be an improvement so far .

    It would appear with
LW barrel with a shorter than steyr leade , the shortest ( 2.4 .....i sent him a super short one ) Tmb has returned long range accuracy and improved chrony spread .........he's now in mid single figures .

Let's see how it holds up over time .

If testers feel the need to reduce or tune the length of push , a small washer / shim under the o ring will do this .

milk carton or drink bottle plastic will do .
I can make some actetal shims as more permanent fitments if needed

Hi, I've just got back to stoke & found a letter waiting for me with some cool looking mk2 pellet pusher thingy's in! so I test them asap.
3 sizes i take it, 2 the same around 2.8mm long? Nice steps on them too.

    cheers
