We'd also like to thank Russ Hardy for taking all the "official" photographs on the day and of all the prize winners, more on that later. To Chris Cundy for helping with the printing and for donating Pellets plus cash from his Pull Thru's - thanks a lot Chris. To Trev "1 Of 21" Ryan for working his magic on the raffle, well done lads and thanks for the support.

Huge thanks to all at Anston who put this on. Best shoot of the year I reckon. Great course, superb organisation, great people and the best craic you'll find at any shoot. At the cheer when Trev knocked his first target over... I was creased!

Fantastic shooting round with you and Dan. Being paired with you I thought I'd be playing catchup but... springers eh? :D

Higgy and I were equal second on scores but as he got the same score in the windier second session I reckon he deserves 2nd more than me. Top boinging to Marc and to all. Roll on next year with some nicer weather hopefully.

Here's the Winning Card, amazing shooting from Marc despite the weather.

Target 5 was the kneeler up the tree, 14 was the diamond at 33 degrees down the bank after the 15mm hole in the tree reducer, can't remember the others but not many hit 40, the 45yd stander on the stairs.

    Well done Marc

    Mega shooting Marc.

Great day out, thoroughly enjoyable shooting round with Mark Amos.

Thanks to everyone involved, what a fantastic turn out given the weather. I've never seen icecream dissolve before, it usually melts.

    Mart.

Nice work there. That was a growler of a course to hold just 5 on.

I double dinked lane 4. I believe Mr Murphy did as well. The wind just baffled me on that top section. I my first 5 lanes I was needing to clear the course to beat it. I think by target 14 that chance had gone. After the first standing lane I only had one in the bag to hold 30... watching John drop it as his last target for 5 was something you couldn't script... perhaps I shouldn't have let him use my allen keys to tighten the stock lane 4... he had a bit of a drought after that.

Come on Adam, more people who shot the PM session came in the top 10 places, so the first session must have been harder:D:D

Not many shoots on the calendar better than this one, it's not to be missed.

    Targets missed

Target 14 wind from behind, pumped down the middle, missed on the right.
Target 25 stander, didn't miss by mutch, but not a good shot.
Target 5 high kneeler, allways struggle with these shots.
Target 7 I ranged this at 50 yards ? Scope had loads of rain on it so prob miss ranged ???
Target 8 l ranged this at 45 yards ? Same thing struggled with the rain on lenses, no idea why I missed.
Be interested to know what distance others made targets 7 & 8

Three top 3 finishes, a win and an average of 32.7 for Marc now in the first 3 years of this Comp.

Interesting that that Andy Calpin fellow, who seems ok with a PCP, scored 16 and 7 in the first 2 years and then suddenly jumps up to 25 with a springer this year ...

    ... was there money involved?

Not sure about the first year, but the 2nd year he shot a break barrel (possibly .22) with a 4x32 scope. I'm not getting into who's gun he shot this year, some say it was zeroed on the crosshairs, some say a mildot left / right...:D
