We'll be down at Purley Chase on Sunday if you want to book in with the folding stuff, if not you can do it from home on the links above.

Good weekend on the bookings, afternoon session is at 80% and morning is at 60% - don't sleep on this one lads.

After watching Grubber drop only 5 at Purley I reckon I may bang a fiver on him this year :)

90 people booked in with over a month to go, amazing response, thanks to everyone booking early and supporting. If you can't make it you can still support us on the Just Giving Link, be great to hit that target as well!

18 spots left and NEFTA Winter League coming up, I'll be there with forms if you want to pay in person but we recommend you get booked in ASAP.

Had a little practice & rough zero in with my new to me boinger on Sunday. Was hitting 30mm kill 30yrders off the knee 8 out of 10 times regularly in "mixed" breeze till I lost the feeling in my fingers they were sooooo cold. Couldn't hit **** shooting it prone though! :p Looking forward to this, hope the weather's kind like last year (but not like the year before:rolleyes: )

Shooting a springer prone is fecking difficult.. you could do SFT, which is essentially just HFT but you're allowed to shoot from the sitting position. You might find shooting a springer easier from sitting than it is from prone, I know I do.

Big Nikko on the 98, going to get some practice in and marks on it this week, finding a good day to zero is never easy in weather like this tho.

Brian, could I might shoot it hft or sft all kneeling? Will try & practice my prone shooting 1st though but it's a ball ache to do with a Springer getting up & down all the time to cock & load it!

Had My TX for about 4 years now and have been shooting the NEFTA Hunters for the past 3 years, don't know how you hold it but I soon realised that shouldering the rifle for every shot is better than using the favored floor touching rear of stock hold very common to PCP rifles, give it a go if you have not tried it.

    Regards
    Paul

I had the butt in the shoulder but shot it off my elbows as there wasn't a peg to hang onto. I've only known onegun that was even remotely accurate shot with the butt on the floor. If I can't get on with shooting it prone II'll fabricate a hamster to make the kneelers easier.:p

Yeah, course you can - you can do that in either HFT or SFT classes.

At the end of the day, it's mainly about raising a load of money for cancer charities and having a fun days shooting.

Shooting a springer prone is dead easy.

Hitting what you're aiming at is a different thing altogether but its magic when them tin chickens go down :lev

main prob is I don't have a springer to shoot yet :eek:o
2nd prob is I don't shoot springers so which class should I put myself in
please help so I can book myself in

(p.s. I do have a springer on the way which will be stripped down and internals posted away as soon as it lands ;) )
